USE CASE OVERVIEW
In the automotive industry, the presentation of vehicles plays a crucial role. Our Digital Info Display (DID) offers an interactive presentation of sales vehicles in car dealerships. Developed by the B12 Group, the system is based on web technologies, is hardware-independent and supports numerous evergreen web browsers such as Chrome. It integrates data from various sources, updates itself automatically and also works offline. The backend system enables simple vehicle imports, automatic price allocations and customised price sheet creation. The solution is GDPR-compliant and supports multiple brands, including Audi and Volkswagen.


OUR PROCEDURE
We took a user-centred approach when developing the Digital Info Display. First, we analysed the specific requirements of the car dealerships and identified the most important challenges, such as ensuring GDPR compliance and supporting multi-brand presentations. We then developed a flexible solution that is based on web technologies and is hardware-independent.
Our team implemented a touchscreen display for the interactive presentation of the vehicles and a separate display for legal information. We emphasised intelligent data integration that aggregates and restructures data from different sources to ensure up-to-date and consistent information. By using evergreen web browsers such as Chrome, we were able to maximise compatibility and user-friendliness.
A key element of our system is automatic updating when connected to Wi-Fi and offline capability once set up to ensure continuous use. Our solution supports multiple brands, including Audi and Volkswagen, and complies with current data protection requirements. This ensures a comprehensive and flexible use of the Digital Info Displays in different car dealerships.

STATUS QUO
Our Digital Info Display is now in use in numerous car dealerships and has established itself as a valuable tool for vehicle presentation. Continuous legal checks and updates by the brand headquarters ensure that all content always meets the latest requirements. We are currently working on extending support to other brands such as Cupra and Bentley and integrating additional functions such as accessory information. Regular synchronisation with various databases ensures that our solution is always up to date and meets the high demands of our customers.
With the DID, we are setting new standards in digital vehicle presentation and offering car dealerships a powerful, flexible and user-friendly system.
