USE CASE OVERVIEW
InnoTrans is the leading international trade fair for transport technology and attracts numerous exhibitors and trade visitors from all over the world to Berlin every two years. This is where world firsts and developments for safer, more efficient and environmentally friendly mobility are presented. The trade fair brings together the leading minds in the transport sector and offers a unique opportunity for international cooperation and networking.
Siemens Mobility, a long-standing customer of the B12 Group, is using the headless CMS for the first time at this year’s InnoTrans, taking digital presentation to a new level. The trade fair player will be used at almost 100% of the stations, ensuring a seamless and consistent presentation of information and multimedia content. Visitors can use the Booth Navigator to get an overview of the trade fair stand and discover it. A special highlight is the CMS connection of the exhibits, which makes it possible to display current and topic-relevant content in real time.
OUR PROCEDURE
The development period for this project extends over a duration of up to six months, during which the focus is on providing intensive advice and support to customers. Thanks to the established interfaces to other Siemens solutions, existing structures and content could be seamlessly integrated.
RESULTS
The headless CMS has once again proven itself to be a reliable, flexible and efficient solution in this project and is also convincing new customer business areas.
A significant advantage of the system is the simple and centralized data maintenance, which makes it possible to update content dynamically until shortly before the start of the trade fair and even during the event. This flexibility makes it possible to always work with up-to-date and topic-relevant information.
The uniform look and feel of the trade fair stations, which is ensured by the integration of the CMS, impresses not only Siemens Mobility, but also the trade fair visitors.
