HANNOVER MESSE
USE CASE OVERVIEW
Hannover Messe is one of the world’s most important industrial trade fairs and attracts numerous exhibitors and visitors from all over the world every year. It serves as a platform for innovations and technologies that shape the future of industry. Companies from a wide range of sectors present their latest developments here and provide impetus for the global market. Siemens plays a prominent role at the Hannover Messe. With the largest exhibition space among the participants and a comprehensive portfolio of innovations, Siemens sets new standards every year and presents impressive highlight showcases that have a lasting impact on the industry.
At the Hannover Messe, Siemens regularly introduces important innovations that have an impact beyond the trade fair. In the past, for example, pioneering developments such as the trade fair navigator, a new podcast function and the dynamic display of PowerPoint presentations at the trade fair stand have been presented. These innovations illustrate how Siemens is continuously working to optimise the trade fair experience.
Siemens uses the leading German trade fairs to present specific innovations as highlight showcases in close cooperation with the various Digital Industries (DI) Business Units. This collaboration covers the entire preparation process, including filling the content for the web and trade fair player, the Siemens Landscape and the Booth Navigator. On site, Siemens manages an average of around 80 active devices per trade fair, all of which are used in the comprehensive Siemens trade fair infrastructure.

OUR PROCEDURE
The processing period for the leading trade fairs usually extends over two to three months. During this time, development requests and the approach to the content structure on the part of Siemens take centre stage. Thanks to the now established interfaces to other Siemens solutions, we can significantly reduce the workload for customers. For example, the content structure is generated automatically and existing dialogue stations and machines can be seamlessly integrated into the Booth Navigator.
